WonderWorks: New exhibits coming in July

This summer, WonderWorks will debut three new exhibits showcasing the latest technology in augmented reality and digital imaging. The indoor amusement park, which features more than 100 hands-on exhibits that spark the mind and imagination, continuously adds new exhibits to inspire young minds and entertain families looking for an experience to enjoy together.

“We are always thinking of ways to create new experiences for our guests,” said Mike Walsingham, general manager. “We take pride in continuing to provide innovative attractions that feature cutting-edge technology to provide amazing educational adventures for everyone to enjoy.”

WonderWorks Panama City Beach’s newest exhibits set to open this summer include:

Professor Wonder’s Adventure: An interactive way to learn how WonderWorks came to be. This spatial augmented reality adventure will take guests on a 3D experience that transforms the area they stand in into an “unreal” experience where they will see the history of WonderWorks.

Dig It! Interactive Sandbox: Explorers will experience land, sea and safari in this futuristic exhibit. Guests hold the power to manipulate sand to produce unique environments reflected electronically over top of their sandy creations. Using light projections, each hand motion and sand movement will produce unique environments for guests to explore.

Draw Alive: Design creatures and watch them come alive in their own giant wall-sized environment. Create unique and colorful creatures, place them under our scanner and watch your masterpiece come to life as they swim, fly and move throughout the world.

In addition to new exhibits, WonderWorks’ list of experiences continues to grow. The upside-down adventure will also feature a fully refurbished laser tag arena featuring all new equipment and obstacles. Guests of all ages will be able to participate in this state-of-the-art arena next month.
