As a native of the Panama City, I’ve seen the transformation of our beaches throughout the years. Thinking back to the late 80s while attending Gulf Coast College here, the beaches were usually filled with vacationers during the peak season and remained desolate after the Labor Day weekend until the following spring. Much has changed over the past quarter century. Just in the past few years, our visitor numbers have increased from 6.1 million to over 7 million per year; believing much of this growth is attributed to the new international airport, Pier Park in addition to other new commercial development, and the influx of condos built over the past 12 years. The future looks bright for our real estate market on Panama City Beach.
Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
